HEAD OF AIR-CONDITIONING & REFRIGERATION ENGINEERING Section AT AL-MUSTAQBAL College School, PUBLISHES A fresh SCIENTIFIC Investigation While in the JOURNAL OF Electricity SOURCES

MUCA part of the ongoing investigation achievements on the Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineering Department, a different scientific study for its Head, Support Prof. Dr. Azher M. Abid continues to be released in the Journal of Electricity Resources. It is actually exceptional to note that this journal is classed throughout the initial quarter of Q1 SCOPUS & Clarivate, using an Impression Variable nine.794.
The research is entitled

"Three-dimensional numerical research on the influence of the air-cooled process on thermal administration of the cylindrical lithium-ion battery pack with two unique preparations of battery cells"
During this research, a simulation of a few-dimensional battery pack (B-PK) has been performed, made up of sixteen battery cells (BCL) with aligned and non-aligned preparations. This B-PK has become positioned in the square air duct exactly where air enters from your best in the B-PK and exits from the bottom of your batteries.
This experiment has predominantly centered on shifting the air velocity (V-AR) that enters the B-PK from 0.03 to 0.09 m/s for three demand/discharge cycles in just 2000 seconds.
The final results attained have showed that extending the charging/discharging duration of B-PK until the 3rd cycle contributes to an increase in the temperature of B-PK. In actual fact, the influence of changing air velocity has been most recognizable in the next and third cycles with the battery charging approach. It has also been recognized that the maximum (T-MX) and average (T-AV) temperatures with the B-PK plus the temperature from the air leaving the battery pack are minimized once the V-AR is increased.
On the other hand, the research has disclosed at the same time which the central batteries on the B-PK have a higher temperature, While the batteries in the corners Have a very lower temperature, as per BCLs Investigation. Accordingly, it may be concluded that utilization of the aligned arrangement of batteries in the bundle shall lessen the T-AV of the B-PK when put next to an unaligned arrangement of batteries.
